Hey everyone! I'm excited to share with you seven splurge items that, as a luxury award-winning interior designer, I would absolutely love to splurge on for my own home and for a project if cost were no consideration. These are the items that make my heart race and my design mind whirl. Let's dive in!

1. Hästens Bed

First up, the Hästens . This isn't just any bed; it's the pinnacle of mattresses. My friend owns Chicago Luxury Beds, where you can get one of these beauties. They are on the pricey side, but sleep is everything. I dream of having one of these mattresses one day and if you are looking for the ultimate restful respite, this is it my friend.

2. Hydrotap Faucet

Next, let’s talk about the Hydrotap Faucet by Zip Water. We’ve got this marvel in our portfolio, featured in a couple of clients’ homes. This faucet does it all: hot, cold, and even carbonated water. Imagine making a perfect vodka soda or a refreshing carbonated drink with just a turn of the tap. It’s an indulgent yet practical addition to any bar area.

3. Toto Wall-Mounted Toilet with Washlet Seat

I know it might be a bit of a taboo topic, but trust me, the Toto wall-mounted toilet with a built-in washlet seat is a game-changer. It has a bidet, a blow dryer, and an air freshener. The seat is heated, and it even has a nightlight! No more arguments about leaving the seat up, and no more cold shocks in the winter. It’s a splurge that brings comfort and convenience to a whole new level.

4. ScentAir Home Fragrance System

Have you ever walked into a luxury hotel and been enveloped by an amazing scent? That’s ScentAir. They make systems for homes now, and I am obsessed. It connects to your HVAC and fills your entire home with delightful fragrances. No more plug-ins scattered around. Just pure, consistent luxury.

5. Victoria + Albert Toulouse Soaking Tub

For bath lovers, the two person Victoria + Albert Toulouse  Soaking Tub by House of Rohl is a must-have. Made from ground-up marble, it’s a bathtub for two, perfect for date nights. Picture this: a cold winter evening, a warm bath with your significant other, a glass of wine in hand. Pure bliss. We’ve used these tubs in some of our most stunning bathrooms, and they never fail to impress.

6. Fertini Casa Linens

Now, let’s talk about bedding. Fertini Casa linens are simply divine. The fiber content is exceptional, they look amazing, and they feel even better. Plus, they add that little touch of bling that makes you feel like royalty.

7. AboutGolf Simulator

Lastly, for a bit of fun, the AboutGolf Simulator in the basement is an absolute dream. As a mom of both boys and girls, I can tell you that golf is one of those activities that gets everyone involved. It’s good exercise, and with an AboutGolf simulator, you can play different courses right from home - key in the winter.

So there you have it—seven splurges that I crave for me and my clients! Good luck not buying at least one thing on this list!!
